About the Artist

My painting practice is driven by a continuous search for wonder and a deliberate embrace of uncertainty.  Rather than depicting a specific person or place, I seek the sensation of being fully present while creating.  I think there’s magic in that kind of presence—in the way light changes, or how a line leans just enough to make you pause. 

     These paintings are a space where tension and serenity meet. I hope they make you feel both grounded and a little bit suspended—like you’ve stepped into somewhere just slightly outside of time.
